The Dairy Shack has been a staple in Shannon county since 1968. We offer some of the best burgers around and ice cream to boot. Root beer floats, sundaes and banana splits! If you get here while it's hot get you a big cup of hand squeezed lemonade or tea! We are here to serve you as best we can and strive to make your visit the best we can as well!

Our planters this year are themed around the 250th birthday of our great nation! What an honor it is to be in a country where we have the freedoms that we do.

🇺🇸 RED ❤️, WHITE 🤍 & BLUE💙 🇺🇸

The blue salvia is just now starting to show its color!!! In my mind, these things are going to look soo good!! Time will tell! They have filled in well and the petunias are blooming nicely. The salvia will catch up once we get some consistent sun and a little heat.

We always get asked how we care for them or “whats the trick to making them look soo good and full”. I am posting the things we use to try and keep them looking their best. Everything can be found on amazon or maybe in your local garden store if you have one.

We also want to give a shout out to Cahill Family Greenhouses. This is a local grower up north near Salem Missouri that supplies some of the greenhouses at the local grocery stores as well as other places. They are not the typical “come shop at this greenhouse” place but If you see their plants while you are looking in other greenhouses somewhere, you know you’re getting good stock! We appreciate them working with us again this year to make our vision of a red, white and blue planter come to life!

Get a birthday cake riffle, which is Red, White & Blue vanilla cake and buttercream icing with ice cream and sprinkles OR just a piece of cake with some ice cream on top! Either way, its real good!!
