Northern Grounds, a long time Ely favorite has come back to life in downtown! Located at the intersection of Central Ave. & Sheridan St., the former VFW has also experienced a revival of its own. We welcome guests to enjoy fine wines, craft beers and on-site roasted coffee as well as the baked goods and accompaniments guaranteed to please. Some of the most noteworthy additions are pour-over single origin coffee, nitro coffee, 47 wines by the glass, and craft cocktails!

A new origin to NG, Guatemala coffee offers us a whole new flavor profile unique to its region! Try this now in-store!
While Colombian coffee is a classic to us, we are trying out a new roast profile! This dark roast highlights many of the stronger flavors of this bean. This will be available in-store next week!

Unfortunately, the Society Hall/ Work space upstairs at NG will be closing for good on 8/15/26. This versatile work and event space is going to be re-purposed.

We know many people utilize this space for work, and apologize for the inconvenience.
Working and laptop usage will be allowed in the downstairs seating area, however we ask that you limit your time to 1 hour.
