Good morning !!! Hope everyone is enjoying your break. The Spring Semester will be starting soon..... As you know the Piasa Pub is staffed by students. At this time I have many shifts still available. If you are interested in joining our team, Sherry Kinkel [email protected] would be more than happy to assist you.

Welcome to all our new arriving students!
And, of course welcome back to all the returning students. As you all know from past semesters we are in great need of student employees not only in the Student Dining and College Store but also in the Piasa Pub. As of the moment we are unable to open with normal hours or menu. As you all will see there are many changes and more will evolve, I am sure. We plan to be open in the evening and weekends, to begin with. We will offer a limited menu. As far as daytime.... we will open daily for lunch. We will not have the shake side open and we will not be able to support a menu. I have come up with daily specials. Monday I plan to have pizza by the slice. You will have 2 choices, Cheese or Pepperoni. I will be posting soon the weekly menu.
I hope to see you around campus. Remember if you or any of your friends are in the need of employment or would just feel like giving of yourself to help out the community by joining our team our door is always open. Alison Rea is the contact person in student dining, Catherine Wallace is the contact person for the college store, and last but not the least ... Sherry Kinkel is the contact person for the Piasa Pub. Take care... virtual hug..

Hello Everyone... The Staff Senate will be utilizing the Piasa Pub for a private meeting today from 11:30 - 1:30. After the meeting is completed the Piasa Pub will open. Please plan to spend your lunch at a different location. We all thank you for all your support. See you after 1:30pm.

Good Morning Everyone.... The Summer Break is slowly coming to an end. We have many many open shifts available in the Piasa Pub. Remember without the proper staffing we will not be able to open. I know everyone has been craving one of our Piasa Pub shakes and a yummy quesadilla. As you all know the Piasa Pub is primarily run by the students, so we rely on the student body to support in staffing our shifts. Attention All !!! We have many many buzzers missing in action!! If you should find any sneaking through the hallways, please capture and release back on the counter of the Piasa Pub. They are very pricy and we are slowly running out of buzzers.

Unfortunately until we are staffed to support a full menu this will be the limited menu that will be offered on Friday and Saturday evening. Remember due to the Piasa Pub being 99% student workers. Without the support of the students we are just not able to offer all that is available to our customers (students and the Principia community). We have many shifts still available.To join the Piasa Pub team please email Sherry Kinkel at [email protected].

The Piasa Pub is sad to announce that we will be changing our menu on Friday and Saturday nights. Due to the lack of interest to seek employment in the Piasa Pub, we are too understaffed to support a normal menu on Friday and Saturday evening. Until we are better staffed we have to offer a limited menu. We are doing our best to keep the Piasa Pub open for the students and community but we can't simply ask for our current workers to handle the workload that is intended for a full shift. So, without the support of the student body we have no other choice but to cut back on what we have to offer. If you have any free time that you are available to work, feel free to contact Sherry Kinkel ([email protected]). Thank you to everyone that has gone the extra mile to help out and support the Piasa Pub.
