Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

Birthdays have a way of reminding us of what truly matters, and this one reminded me just how incredibly blessed I am. I don't take a single friendship, conversation, hug, or birthday wish for granted.

I am truly overwhelmed by the love, the kind words, the birthday wishes, the dinners out with friends and by everyone who stopped by State Street on LaSalle to celebrate with me. Seeing our bar filled with friends, family, guests, and so many familiar faces was a gift I'll never forget.

To my incredible team—and Mel for writing such beautiful words on our FB page—thank you. I don't see myself the way you described me, but I will treasure your words forever. The truth is, any success I've had is because I've been blessed to be surrounded by extraordinary people. You inspire me every day, and it is an honor to work alongside you all!

To everyone who has supported State Street on LaSalle (and in previous years, State Street Market,) shared a meal with us, celebrated life's milestones with us, or simply walked through our doors—thank you for allowing us to be a part of your lives. Those relationships mean more to me than you'll ever know.

It's hard to put into words what you mean to all of us. You're so much more than a boss. You're a mentor, a cheerleader, a friend, and the person who somehow keeps us all moving forward with grace, determination, and a whole lot of love.
Thank you for believing in us, encouraging us, making us laugh when we need it most (because you're funny), and reminding us that the little details matter because people matter. Your kindness reaches far beyond the walls of the restaurant, and everyone who knows you is better for it.
I feel incredibly lucky to call you my friend. Thank you for your trust, your friendship, and for creating a place that feels like home to so many.
