Today was the perfect day to work on the new AC unit. Got it all installed and it cooled the back down within just a few minutes so I think we’re good to go. We will put it to the test Friday! No more being miserable and working in the heat! Our dining room will be more comfortable for everyone and our machines don’t have to give me attitude on the daily with an occasional outburst! Literally. 😂 come see us Friday.. and bring a hoodie it may be chilly in here 🤪

We’re back in action! Open today! For sure closing grill at 3:00. We’re in the works adding a unit to the back to keep it cool so this isn’t an ongoing issue. We will hopefully have this task completed this Wednesday and Thursday while we’re closed our usual days! Thanks for being patient with us!! 🫶

This is the reason we shut down during that hot week and got hated on for it… so I tried to avoid the hate and stick this out… and THIS is what we have! Machine down. Going home.. closed for the evening so it can cool down in here. We will have to have the grill off by 3 in this heat, or no ice cream.. it’s a hard decision. I’ll have a plan in the morning.

T***s will be having a delayed opening today. Last night our son had a seizure. On the way to the ER we hit a deer. Needless to say this morning is rough. We will open at 3:00 giving us time to get things in order if we come in at all. It’s all in the air right now. My apologies.

It’s currently over 90 in the kitchen, the floors are so slick due to this humidity, we’re unable to take actual steps in here.. more like a glide. The candy is melting, the machines are leaving puddles… need I go on? We’re leaving. Closing early.. we can’t hang like this. Too many safety hazards. I love to cook for y’all but not when our literal lives are on the line. See you tomorrow! Probably closing about the same time tomorrow! This is when it gets unbearable. Thanks and sorry!!!
