Hello all I hope everyone had a great holiday season during our neverending winter. Unfortunately I have bad news today. The shack will not be opening this spring. My family and I have worked hard to provide good food and good service to our awesome customers for about 6 years. However it seems that the harbor commission no longer wants us there. I started the shack because I found out that the vendor that was supposed to be there years ago backed out at the last minute. I put in a proposal and signed a three year lease. The commission gave me one year extensions for the next two years. My family and a couple close friends worked the shack every year. Then a couple years ago the commission wanted to move the shack closer to the lower parking lot and for me to pay for moving the utilities. I said no to moving the utilities. So then they decided to put it out to bid and if I didn't get it I would have to leave. I was the only one that put in a bid. They would only give me a one year lease. Then they told me it was going out to bid again this year. At that point I declined to bid. It was clear they wanted someone else. I have no place to move the shack so I am selling it. The new vendor will be a taco truck. I wish them the best. To all of our customers my family and I are grateful for the wonderful support you have shown to our business and we wish you all well. I don't know if they even considered what the customers of the harbor might have thought about their decision or even asked for input. They should remember the harbor belongs to the community not them. Why couldn't there be two vendors down there. Anyway, thank you all I sincerely appreciate all of the memories and great people we interacted with.

Hi All, due to the lack of staff today we will be closing at 3. It’s tough with all the boys being back in school and having other priorities so we apologize. The seasons starting to wrap up for us and we just want to let you all know how appreciative we have been of your support throughout this whole summer ❤️ We hope we get a chance to see you all again before we close for the season, thank you!

Just want to let everyone know that it’s my dad’s (Mike) birthday today! Therefore, we will
be closing at 3pm today so we can celebrate! Our business and everything else would not be possible without him so everyone please wish him a happy birthday and we will be back tomorrow morning at 10:30am sharp!

Hello all I'm sorry to post this late but unfortunately the shack will be closed today. Going forward the schedule for the shack will be Wednesday Friday Saturday Sunday as the boys are all going back to school and we do not have enough staff to run the shack on the other days. To our beloved customers, I first off would like to thank everyone for the support you have showed us throughout this summer so far! We have enjoyed serving each and every one of you and we hope you have enjoyed visiting us as well!

With that being said, I want to remind you that we do not run a huge operation like most of the other restaurants in town. We have 3 or maybe 4 people in here at most with one small flat iron grill and some fryers so when we have a lot of orders in at once, it may take a little bit for us to get to it and get it out the window. We are doing our very best to get everyone their food as quickly as possible but we can only do so much. All of the meals we send out the window are made from scratch, we have to get things ready, make sure we have room on the grill, make sure we get all of the ingredients that were asked so that takes a little time. We strive to put out the best possible food which is only right for the best customers.

So all we ask is for you to please be patient with us, and I promise that the food you receive will make the wait worth it! Once again, we cannot emphasize enough how thankful we are for all of you coming down and supporting us! Hope to see you all soon! ❤️
