Exactly one year ago this month, Delectable Delights was honored to be featured in Rural Missouri Magazine. The article was beautifully written by Ricanna Spargo, who visited our home to interview us, hear our story, and capture photos of what we love doing.
Fast forward one year... and last night we had the incredible privilege of creating the dessert bar for Ricanna & her groom's beautiful wedding at The Forest Venue in Wappapello, Missouri. What a full-circle moment!
A huge thank you to Forest Event Center in Wappapello, Mo for providing such a stunning setting, and to Rural Missouri magazine for their mission of shining a light on local Missouri businesses and the people behind them. That heart for supporting communities is something we deeply appreciate.
We wanted this dessert bar to reflect their favorite desserts, their gorgeous peachy sunset wedding palette, and something else that's close to Ricanna's heart—supporting local.
Our mini cheesecakes were topped with a fresh peach compote made from delicious Bader Peaches from Campbell, Missouri. 🍑 Our triple berry streusel mini pies featured fresh blueberries from Sheltons’ Farm and Greenhouses in Bernie, Missouri. 🫐 We love showcasing the incredible farms and families across Missouri that produce excellence every day.
Ricanna Spargo Nelson, thank you for trusting us with such an important part of your wedding day. It was truly an honor to celebrate alongside you, and we wish you both a lifetime filled with love, laughter, and countless sweet memories.
