We are back from St. Ann bbq comp for SLBS man this was a fun comp put on by Dan Murphy. We will definitely be back next year! This is how we did

Chicken: 9th! Springer Mountain Farms
Ribs: 1st! Perfect Score! (First ever for pro) Prairie Fresh
Tri Tip: 12th first time ever cooking it

Overall: 8th!!!

Huge congratulations to OnlyCans Competition BBQ on GC and Mess-in-a Round BBQ for RGC

We are off for week before starting 4 in a row. Congratulations to everyone else and we couldn’t have done it with these amazing products!

It’s comp week these Springer Mountain Farms chicken thighs look great! Even these Compart Family Farms collars looking sweet. Huge shout out to Jay LoBello for helping me out last minute delivery! Heading out to Newton in the AM my first time ever going there! Looking forward to it! Going to be a fun birthday weekend with me and Jason Adams sharing it!

We competed in the Ryan Dintleman Classic: BBQ Competition first annual and Jon did an amazing job putting this on! It was a blast and we will definitely be back next year! This is how we did this past weekend!

Chicken: 12th Springer Mountain Farms
Ribs: 9th! Compart
Pork: 15th I’m slowly figuring it out! Compart Family Farms
Brisket: 6th!! Korte Meat Processing

Overall: 12th!!!

We’re slowly making a couple tweaks and seems to be working we’re off a couple weeks until my birthday at Newton IL than we’re going to start being busy every weekend! Thanks to the products that help us get us there!

Did a practice run at home on some very nice quality Springer Mountain Farms thighs and tried the wings for the very first time!! Amazing quality great taste!

We are back from Sullivan, MO comp Ed did a great job putting this comp on! It was a ton of fun hanging with everyone and my buddy Bill Pracht helped me this weekend. He was a huge help! He also cooked ribs and pork. This is how we did!

Chicken: 16th Springer Mountain Farms
Ribs: 4th!!! Bill

Brisket: 7th!! Korte Meat Processing

Overal: 7th! Our first ever top 10 finish in the pro circuit for SLBS!

We were very excited and I couldn’t be more happier for bill to cook ribs and pork and get two calls and some hardware! Thank you for everything buddy great cooking with you until next time. Huge congratulations to our good friends Terry Bower with Awesome racks for his GC and Burnt Crow on RGC! Heck of a weekend fellas! We are off as of now till July 31st see everyone in one month!

Well we’re back after taking a trip to a familiar stopping ground in Iuka, IL for CCBS it was nice seeing old faces haven’t seen since last year! They do an amazing job putting this comp on the weather was a lot better than last year. We will definitely be there again next year this is how we did

Chicken: 2nd!!!
Ribs: 2nd!!!
Pork: 3rd!!

Overall: Reserve Grand Champion! Our very first ever RGC!! We’ve been wanting this trophy for 3 years now we finally got one!!

Huge congratulations to nice butts on there first GC for the year more to come! And huge congratulations to hillbilly bbq on his 1st in pork and perfect score!!! And everyone else who heard there name!

Well no rest for us we are off to Sullivan,Mo for SLBS really looking forward to this one heard it’s going to be a good time! Thanks to amazing products that helped us along the way

This past weekend we did our first ever rolling double for St. Louis BBQ Society man what an experience it was it was a bucket list item I wanted to do for the past couple years. Wouldn’t be a bbq comp unless we got wet we definitely did in pacific during turn ins this is how we did.

Smithton IL:

Chicken: 4th!! Springer Mountain Farms
Ribs: 19th
Pork: 21st
Brisket: 17th

Overall: 20th

Pacific:

Chicken: 13th
Ribs: 1st!! Compart Family Farms our first ever pro 1st place call!
Pork: 17th
Brisket: 14th

Overall: 13th we’re getting closer to that top 10 overall!

In Smithton huge congratulations to our good buddy’s Rock Star BBQ for their RGC and Burnt Crow for a monster GC

In pacific congratulation to our two buddies Take It Easy BBQfor RGC and OnlyCans Competition BBQ for a GC!

Overall combined it was High on the Hog Barbeque RGC and GC

What a great time this weekend with everyone and congratulations to everyone who heard there names! It was a fun experience and we would definitely do it again! Couldn’t have done it without also thank you to everyone that let my daughter make some boxes for you I truly appreciate that a lot!
