Words alone cannot express our gratitude for the outpouring of love and support that we have experienced of late. So a simple - yet enormous - Thank You will have to suffice!
So many have asked, "What can we do?" or "How can we help?" Please know, that we have heard these pleas and have struggled trying to find an answer to these laments. We truly have a wonderful and unique community that is far from just just a place where we lay our heads down to sleep at night.
Times are tough all around. The drought like conditions, inflation, labor force instability and future economic uncertainty are things that we all feel and live in. Please, continue to shop and support small and local business. These are not corporations and people who are disconnected from us but family and friends who strive to enhance our community and continue to make it a better place for all to live and visit. Our museums, local shopping, dining establishments, beauty shops, co-op, thrift store, schools, grocery store, etc. need our intentional support now more than ever. Pulling together and rallying around each other is one of the many great things about Ellis that cannot be found in many other places and what makes our community so terrific!
