It’s that special time of year again! The leaves are changing, the temperature is dropping, and the Big E vendors are stocked and ready! Yes, the Big E is here once again and the LuAnn’s team couldn’t be more excited! While we bring you some new treats at our Big E booth, we thought we would use this week’s funcake as a way to shout out one of our cupcake flavors that will be making its debut at the fair grounds today!

It may be new at the Big E, but it’s a classic we know you love: the Cookies and Cream Funcake is back! Three layers of chocolate cake sandwich layers of vanills buttercream filling to give you that perfect, chocolate-cookie sandwich look! The cake is then coated in our cookies and cream buttercream and dusted with more chocolate cookie crumbs. It is topped with a chocolate ganache drip, a ring of cookies and cream dollops and chocolate cookie pieces!
Grab a slice at any of our Ellington, Stafford or Hartford cafe locations, and if you miss out today, don’t worry! We will have cookies and cream cupcakes ready for you at our Big E booth as well as 4 other fantastic flavors! And since you’re there, why not grab a custom brownie or two! 😉 Happy Opening Day for The Big E! 🎡
