A farm girl from the west and a farm boy from the east, met in the middle on a blind date. The moment they met was when their life began. The road they traveled was full of bumps, hills and crazy turns; there were even a few pot holes along the way. Their love for each other was strong and true. They knew if they worked together they could make it thru anything life handed them. Their faith in God
was the glue that held them strong. Their love for family, friends and neighbors taught them to be honest and true. Trust in the country they loved so dearly, gave them a sense of pride. Bev had a way of smiling even on a cloudy day. Dave would always greet you with a joke and when he told you the punch line he would laugh harder than you. In the short 15 years they were together, they loved, lived, laughed and even shed a tear or two; more than most people do in a lifetime. When Dave lost his beloved Bev on February 16, 1980, his heart broke. I heard him say, "The day your mother died, half of me died too." His spirit was strong and he never lost hope in a better tomorrow. He tried with all his might to move forward in life. Searching for a love he once found, but there was always something missing. Dave joined his strong and beautiful Bev on February 16, 1984. Today their memory lives on thru everyone that enters. Be a part of their legacy; add your name to the milk can of true love and never be forgotten. May your dreams come true and your memory live on in those around you. We look forward to meeting you.
