Balaton Bites Final Weekend – Limited Menu & Private Events Available

It’s bittersweet, but this weekend marks the final days of Balaton Bites as you know it. Sunday will be our last day serving this menu from the food trailer, and we want to thank every single one of you for your support, stories, and love for old-world Hungarian flavors.

We’re running a limited menu through the weekend, so if you’ve been craving your favorites, now is the time! Don't miss out on these final bites before we close this chapter.

While the food trailer is coming to an end, we are still available for private Hungarian events. If you’re looking for authentic, handcrafted Hungarian cuisine for your next gathering, we’d love to bring that experience to you.

We started as Balaton Bites, bringing a taste of old-world Hungarian cuisine to the community. But as we grew, we listened—and we realized that while our passion for great food remains the same, the demand for Hungarian cuisine just wasn’t what the community was looking for.

So, we’re evolving! The Fat Raccoon Eatery is our fresh take on bold, crave-worthy flavors that bring people together. We’re shifting our focus to a more diverse and exciting menu—one that keeps things fun, delicious, and exactly what our community wants.

Same dedication to quality, same love for great food—just with a new name and a menu built for YOU. Stay tuned for updates, new dishes, and where to find us next!

📢 Announcement

We want to thank everyone at Pinellas Ale Works and all of you who have supported us there. It’s been an incredible experience serving our food in such a welcoming space. However, as Pinellas Ale Works embarks on a new venture with their own food truck, we will no longer be stationed there on Saturdays.

Until we find a new location in St. Pete, we will unfortunately be stepping back from crossing the bridge for now. We’re excited to continue sharing our food with you at our other locations, and we’ll keep you updated on where we land next in St. Pete!
