Sorry for the delay! Here are some shots from Tiki Tuesday. Every year, we throw this random celebration of the sad end to summer. Never could have imagined it to be so big! Our German keller transforms to a Carribean/Luau for a little "last vacation." Thanks to Andrew Riddle for the drinks, Joe Mackey for the guidance, Northbrook Naturals for the epic Pineapple Cake, the kitchen staff that slung pineapple fried rice with me, and the FOH that made everyone's experience come together.

might be a cheesy motto from 2019 when hashtags were still cool. But to us, it means a whole lot more. While can refer to how we treat our guests, it also refers to how we treat our own.

Paco started as a dishwasher with us after a rough restart in the industry. He built a nice career working on docks in New York before moving to Baltimore. After working in similar warehouse roles, he lost his job during COVID.

Trying to find work, he ended up working at a chain restaurant. After repeated issues, he left to join us. After crushing dishes for several months he wanted to move up. Paco then spent several months hand cutting and pounding every. single. Schnitzel we serve.

His meticulousness and attention to detail caught the eye of our pastry chef. But his tenacity and eagerness to learn shone out to me. The move was only imminent. Here is Paco 2 weeks into his new role as Assistant Pastry Chef.

Edit: WE ARE OPEN!

Hey guys. No easy way to say this. Due to the storm today, some of our power went out and our hood wasn't working (but the lights were). We didn't realize in the middle of the rush until it was too late and well - we are wet. I think it shocked me more than my team, who coordinated cleanup efforts while I was in shock.

Needless to say, I'm sad to announce that emo nite that was scheduled tonight will be postponed/cancelled. All tickets were refunded.

We will unfortunately be closed for several days as we get our kitchen back to code.
