Saturday Morning (6:00 AM - 8:00 AM): Catch us soaring high at the Ruby Mountain Balloon Festival! Start your morning with gorgeous views and warm, bite-sized happiness.

From there on Saturday Morning: We’re racing straight from the balloons over to the Elko Skyfair to keep the party (and the frying) going strong all afternoon!

Sunday (6:00 AM – Until We're Not!): Back at the Ruby Mountain Balloon Festival! We stay open until we're not, so don't sleep in too late!

Every single year, Nuts Under a Buck - MiniDonuts counts down the days until we get to pack up, heat up the fryers, and join this amazing community. Seeing all the classic beauties, custom builds, and friendly faces makes this event one of our absolute favorite highlights of the entire year! 🥳🍩

A huge special shoutout and massive thank you to the Maverick Casino for hosting another mind-blowing, tire-shredding Burnouts event! 🏎️🔥 The energy was electric, the smoke was wild, and the crowd was top-tier. There’s really nothing quite like pairing the smell of burning rubber with the warm, sweet aroma of fresh mini DoeNUTS!

💜 Calling All Local Business Owners & Community Supporters! 💜

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and we are putting together an incredible Raffle Drive to raise critical funds for local survivors and specialized medical care right here in Elko. John and I, Nuts Under a Buck - MiniDonuts, are reaching out to our amazing small business community to ask for tax-deductible donations of themed gift baskets, gift certificates, services, or individual raffle items.

We have received a few messages for donations. We'll be contacting you this week if you've already reached out, to arrange pick up.

Our primary goal is to raise $3,000 directly for CADV (Community Against Domestic Violence) to support emergency shelter, resources, and advocacy for individuals and families in crisis.did you know our CADV center is the only one for all of Elko County, Eureka County and White apin County?

Extra Impact: If we surpass our $3,000 goal, every dollar raised beyond that mark will go directly to support our local Forensic Nursing Program in Elko—a vital team providing compassionate, specialized care and medical evidence collection for victims of violence.

Nuts Under a Buck - MiniDonuts is about more than just serving sweet treats—we are about standing up for our community when it matters most. Right now, a critical cause needs all of us to rally together.

This October for Domestic Violence Awareness Month, we are hosting a major raffle to help rebuild the Emergency Fund for the Committee Against Domestic Violence (CADV). Following severe grant budget cuts this year, the emergency safety net that helps survivors in dangerous situations is critically low.

We also want to extend our support to our local Forensic Nursing Program. These warriors are absolute heroes. They are the compassionate professionals who stand beside survivors during their most traumatic moments—providing care, gathering crucial evidence, and ensuring victims are never alone as they navigate their darkest hours. Every dollar raised beyond our initial target will go directly toward supporting their essential work. 💜

No one should ever be trapped in fear, and together, we can ensure safety and care are always within reach.

How Local Businesses Can Help: We are looking for local business partners to team up with us by donating a raffle item, gift certificate, gift basket, or service.
