Hello Elkhorn.
It is with a heavy heart that we announce that, after three incredible years, we will be closing our doors for good following our final service on Tuesday, September 29th.
This was not an easy decision. Owning and operating this restaurant has been an experience I will always be grateful for, and I am incredibly proud of what we have built here. More than anything, I am thankful for the people who made it possible.
To everyone who walked through our doors, shared a meal with us, celebrated a special occasion here, recommended us to a friend, or simply continued to come back—thank you. Your support over the past three years has meant more to me and my family than I can put into words. We have made friendships, memories, and connections that I will carry with me long after our doors close.
As difficult as it is to close this chapter, I am also looking forward to what comes next.
After a great deal of thought, I have made an important decision for myself and my family: I will be returning to The Waterfront Pub & Grill in Delavan.
Before opening my own restaurant, The Waterfront was a big part of my career and my life. Returning after four years away feels a little like coming home—only this time, I’m coming back with four more years of experience, perspective, and an even greater appreciation for this industry and the people we get to serve.
While the location may be changing, my passion for creating great food and taking care of people is not.
I sincerely hope that many of the familiar faces I’ve had the privilege of serving here in Elkhorn will come see me at The Waterfront. I’m excited for the opportunity to reconnect with old friends, welcome new ones, and bring everything I’ve learned over these past few years into this next chapter.
From my family to yours, thank you for three unforgettable years. Thank you for supporting a local restaurant, for believing in us, and for being part of this journey.
This may be goodbye to this restaurant, but I hope it isn’t goodbye to any of you.
