I am still feeling all the love and support shared at YOGA ON THE FARM yesterday! ❤️ What a success our first event at the farm was! Our fundraiser to benefit the Tree House in Elkhorn had so much support -- not only to those who attended, but the amazing local businesses that donated baskets for our raffle! Thank you to all who joined us on the absolutely beautiful day we were blessed with -- and a special THANK YOU to Laurie at Perkup for so generously hosting on her farm yesterday ❤️ The Tree House was represented well and we all enjoyed the raffle! Thank you to Paige from Health Accel in Elkhorn for speaking on health and eating breakfast! Happy Monday everyone! ❤️
Just hopping on to say hi and to invite you to an event I have been working on with Laurie at Perkup!

Last year, I received my 200 hour Yoga Certification and have been getting out into the community and teaching yoga classes! I am super excited to offer classes (right now, by request only) and practice yoga with you!

Some of you know (many do not) my husband Kevin was diagnosed with young-onset Parkinson’s Disease almost four years ago. There have been so many ups and downs with this disease and we have found that movement and mindfulness are key to helping feel more balanced and grounded — for both of us. I am so grateful that I have been given this path in my life and look forward to guiding you in your yoga practice.

That being said -- Laurie from Perkup and I have teamed up to offer YOGA ON THE FARM later this month! Join us on the corner of Loveland and Bowers for a morning to remember! September 27th at 9 am. Register online OR stop in at Perkup to sign up at 27 N. Wisconsin St.

Laurie and I have organized this event for community, coffee, conversation, yoga and supporting the Tree House in Elkhorn. Baskets and raffles are available to bid on with cash and check and all proceeds go to the Tree House. Local small business have been generous with their donations.

Special guest are the director from the Tree House, Koko Cooper and Paige Pearson, Health Coach from Elkhorn’s Health Accel.

Happy (rainy) Thursday!
As I adjust to my first day of "retirement", I am reflecting on yesterday. Let me just say — my heart is full. Where do I even begin? Thank you so much to all those who stopped in yesterday (and days leading up to the big day) to wish me well ❤️ And the beautiful sentiments on social media this week were so fun to read! Meeting and getting to know you all has been an absolute pleasure, and the memories throughout the years will be forever in my heart. SO many good times! Laughs, tears, hugs, and most of all — friendships made.

But on to a new chapter. Not just for me, but for YOU too! We met with Manuel and Katy after signing all the papers and doing all the things there is to do yesterday. We had a lovely meeting and I have to tell you — you are in good hands. They value community and connections and are very eager to meet you! You will see change — they have big plans and ideas to offer this community that are very exciting! You will be seeing new signs go up soon and I will be directing you to their new social media pages as well. So watch for that! I will be helping them for awhile to get them transitioned and also helping with social media.

Please remember this — new chapters are good. Change is good. It's not only a new chapter for me and for you...it is a new chapter for Manuel and Katy too — one that they are very excited to begin within this community. I know this community will welcome them, just as you welcomed me seven years ago. I hope you have a chance to stop in soon and meet them!
