Now that the dust has had time to settle, I'd like to thank everyone who has ever patronized ANY Bill's Bar-B-Que location. But, I especially want to speak to the people who came to Benham over the past 11 years. Being a small business guy can make you feel like you are constantly swimming up stream alone. I had felt that many times over the past few years.

The out pouring of love the last few weeks of being open washed those feelings away and left nothing but good memories. Seeing dozens of faces I hadn't seen in 2 decades was awesome. Hearing the stories from customers about their 1st time coming in with their Dad or girlfriend at the time who is now their wife of 10 plus years was great. The hugs and tears exchanged will never be forgotten.

Thank you to every employee that has ever worked for Bills ( even if you quit without notice lol ).

I especially want to thank Wes Lee and William Lee and Shannon Lee for never doubting my vision and being the best EVERYTHING a man could ever hope for. Y'all rode with me til the wheels fell off and always had.

Everything has a beginning and a end. I truly believe that the next chapter in all out lives will be the best yet.

P.S. I heard a rumore that the guy ( private individual ) ( disclaimer 😉 )the used to own Bill's is gonna be donating food at a new place downtown somewhere when they announce their "open house"..... stay tuned

Today will be our last day of operations on Benham. The phones will not be answered and the delivery apps will be disabled. We will open until everything is gone. # everyone

First Sears then Penguin Point then Big Lots now Walgreens. You can add Bills BBQ on Benham to the list. Our last day of operations will be February 28th 2025. I would like to thank ALL of our customers that have patronized Bills from the trailer on Waterfall Dr back in 1984, to the parking lot of Henry's corner store, to the little red shack on Franklin ( my favorite), to our other locations in Roseland and on Cassopolis St. It's been an experience. From feeding tailgaters at ND to inmates at Michigan City Prison ( THAT was WILD ). There are no plans to open another food establishment in Elkhart....Thank you and God Bless. # bbq
