Today we mourn the loss of Maria Cataldo, Paul’s mother.

Maria passed away early this morning, surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She was an instrumental figure in the beginnings and development of Antonio’s in its early years as both a source of Italian cooking traditions and a fierce mother providing for her family.

Her labor, devotion, and passion for her family and the restaurant will never be forgotten. Our family prays for the repose of her soul as she joins her husband, Antonio, in eternal rest.
