Ever since I was a kid, I’ve always had a love for trucks. Working on them, fixing them up, going to truck shows, and just being around the truck community has always been something I truly enjoyed.
Now I have the opportunity to bring that passion together with something else that means a lot to me — San Jose Mexican Grill & Cantina.
The off-season can be some of the toughest months for us as a local restaurant, and during those slower times, we hope our community doesn’t forget about us. Every meal, every visit, every share, and every person who supports us truly makes a difference.
That’s one of the reasons I wanted to create Tacos y Trokas 🌮🛻 — to bring people together, enjoy some amazing trucks, eat some good food, have a great time, and hopefully bring some extra support to San Jose during the months when we need it most.
This isn’t just another truck show to me. It’s something I’ve wanted to do because of a passion I’ve had since I was a kid, while also trying to help something my family and I have worked hard to build.
I hope everyone comes out, brings the family, supports the truck community, supports a local business, and helps us make Tacos y Trokas something special.
