As most of you know Russ and I prayed on our move to Southern Il. We felt this is where God wanted us. Needed us. We have been busy focusing on the "business" side of things we lost sight of that and what exactly we were pulled to do. We always talked about having a good Ole Fashion Revival. We talked about it back home. And where and how we could do it.
I am so please to announce with the help of Rhonda Belford. Gods plan is now in action!!!
You won't want to miss this history in the making. Our First River Revival. We do hope to make this an annual event. And we would love to get to where we are doing monthly events with some gospel, country, bluegrass, contemporary, you name it we would love to start having you all show your talent!!!
If you are a church, brother or sister In Christ, sing, play or would like to give a testimony. Please reach out. To Rhonda or myself. This is not going to be your ordinary event. This is one that we want to bring in the broken, the addicts, those of you that feel unworthy of Gods love. We fool ourselves with thinking we have to be worthy of his love and grace. We don't realize. He loves us where we are and thru it all. He loves us enough to not want us to stay broken he never leaves us. We fool ourselves by thinking this way.
I am calling on all of you to help make this a community event like no other. If you have information on services to help others. Electric, water, food, housing, etc needs. Please set up a table with information. If you would like to set up a table with biblical information. Hand out Bibles, pamphlets, encouraging words. Please join us!! 
We're looking for donations to offer a free meal to those attending. The restaurant will be open for anyone who would like to purchase something there, but we also not only want to feed the hearts and souls, but God says to feed the hungry.
We will be serving soup, chili, hot dogs and working on the rest. So if this is a need you would like to either donate food or money to. Please either reach out or Venmo me -Foster-9 label Revival and all money received will go towards the needs of feeding this event. Anything above and beyond will be donated to a charity not yet decided.
If you would like to volunteer. Please reach out. We are in need of lighting for the stage and solar lights for the park area.
If you have any lawn table and chairs you would like to donate or even just bring for the event. We would love to have those available. Any ideas are welcome. This is not for us. This is to bring people together. To let you know you do not have to be alone. Sometimes that is all we need in life. Every single one of us at times feels alone, broken and unworthy of love.
A friend of mine lost her father. And for a walk they had shirts made. They say
This world is a better place with you in it.
Things so true. And so many times I pull that shirt out and hug it when I feel lost. So when I say we ALL need to feel like we belong somewhere. I speak it from experience and from the heart. So step out of your own way. Out of the place you have been stuck in and join us for this event.
Bring your lawn chairs and be ready to let God move you in ways you never thought imaginable ❤️
