Hey everyone! We are going to to be taking an unexpected break for the next couple weeks from the farmers markets and farm-stand.

We will be back but we need a little time to reset and get seasonal canning/food processed to make sure the family and homestead is set for the winter.

That means we will be pausing baking for the elizabethton farmers market for the remainder of the season. Which literally feels heart wrenchingly painful to do. Just because I love be there each week and felt like I finally was back and things were on the upswing. Darn it!

We will be back. I just need a little vacation for September. Then I’ll be back baby.

Update on bake days and the farmstand and farmers market.

Hi everyone.

Ashley here. I just wanted to let you know why I’ve been radio silent the last week. I’ve been dealing with a pretty significant health scare and also of course caught Covid on top of it. With my extremely weak immune system I’ve been having a heck of a time with fighting it off. I’ll have a goodish day then it will flare back up horribly that night then I’m out again for the next day. I’m just get a couple hours here or there where I even feel human enough to try to catch up on all the things I had planned to get finished this week like canning summer produce and a bakery reset. I’m just trying to rest up and recover as much as I can. Love yall.

If anyone is getting rid of one I’m looking for a reliable electric oven. One that wouldn’t break the bank that I could feasible swing. Nothing fancy I just need another oven to be able I bake bread for the farmers market and my farm-stand without bake days being such a grueling 18 hour ordeal. I looked at new ones and with everything that’s happened the last year I’m just not able to buy a new one.
