Ditches wife during Galena getaway for oak-smoked baby backs.

ELIZABETH, IL — A Chicago couple's weekend getaway to Galena went up in smoke at Eager Beaver BBQ. Bradford Miller, 38, shocked the Jo Daviess County courthouse Tuesday by filing for immediate dissolution of marriage after refusing to get in the car with his wife, Brenda.

The reason? A stack of oak-smoked baby back ribs that caused a total "culinary awakening."

It is with a mix of sadness and immense pride that we announce Miss Olivia is heading off to college!
Olivia has been an absolutely crucial part of our team. Out front, she consistently delivered top-tier customer service and made everyone feel welcome. In the back... well, let's just say she made it her personal mission to keep the kitchen staff on their toes. They are definitely going to miss her daily, good-natured harassment, even if they won't admit it right now!

She is leaving us to study nursing, and we truly couldn't be more excited for her. We have incredibly high hopes for her future, and we know that her drive and compassion will make her an outstanding nurse. Her future patients will be very lucky to have her.

Thankfully, this isn't a permanent goodbye! You’ll still catch Olivia popping back in to help us out for a few weekends here and there.

Please join us in wishing Miss Olivia the absolute best of luck in her next chapter. We are so proud of you!
