Cafe Roma Brings 18 Years of Chef-Driven Italian Cuisine to Huntley
HUNTLEY, IL — After 18 years as a beloved hidden gem in Elgin, Cafe Roma is beginning a new chapter in the heart of downtown Huntley. Chef Frank Redisi and his team are bringing the restaurant’s chef-driven Italian cuisine to a significantly larger space featuring a full-service restaurant, separate bar, and private event space — all under one roof.
The new Cafe Roma was designed to build upon the experience guests have come to know over nearly two decades, while allowing the restaurant to expand its offerings. At the center of the new location is a state-of-the-art commercial kitchen built to support both the restaurant and Cafe Roma’s growing upscale catering and private event business. Art Deco-inspired interiors provide an elegant yet inviting backdrop for the elevated dining experience Redisi and his team have cultivated since the restaurant’s founding.
Longtime guests will still find many of the dishes that have become Cafe Roma favorites, including: Pollo Parmigiana, house-made meatballs, Tortiglione alla Vodka, Fettuccine Alfredo, Pollo Limone, and Marsala, alongside a selection of pastas, pizzas, sandwiches, and salads.
The Huntley menu also marks an evolution for Cafe Roma, introducing house-aged steaks and chops, house-made focaccia, new desserts, and additional chef-driven dishes that complement the Italian-American classics that have defined the restaurant for nearly two decades.
With its expanded dining room, dedicated bar, private event space, and enhanced kitchen, Cafe Roma’s move to Huntley represents more than a change of address — it's an exciting next chapter for a restaurant built on 18 years of great food, hospitality, and community.
