We're taking our summer break a little earlier than usual this year, has an opportunity to go to Paris and experience real life French pastry in June!

For those of you who don't know, we close twice a year for at least a week (during the summer and after Christmas). Our team is small and nearly all of us are here everyday working hard to fill your cup and bellies. It's important for us to take a little extra time to spend with our families, travel, or just REST!

We're so excited for this opportunity and to come back rested and full of inspiration! Thank you all for your support and understanding each time we take a little more time for ourselves.

We WILL BE OPEN!! Please utilize street parking until noon

The City of Elgin's Veteran Memorial Park Expansion (200 block) has been commissioned for a special filming project! Because of this, the park will have limited availability on Friday, May 15, 2026.
The production team will have Intermittent Traffic Control along Central Ave and S Ave B and utilize street parking along Central Ave between S Ave C and S Main St along with Freight and Depot Museum parking lots. The public is free to utilize street parking nearby. The playground will be open to the public, but please note the production team may ask folks to relocated if deemed essential.
Filming will take place from around 5AM-12PM so please plan accordingly. We are so excited to be able to help make Elgin Film Friendly and truly appreciate your flexibility and support as we take part in this special opportunity! We appreciate your patience and cooperation during this time!
