🌧️ Well, yesterday’s storms put a little damper on our cheesecake production… BUT every cloud has a silver lining, right?! 😆

With our cheesecake stock running low, we had some extra time to get creative in the kitchen—and Y’ALL… we made some GOODIES! 👀🤤

🎉🎂 Happiest of Birthdays to another very special (and very important!) member of the Maveen's crew! 🎂🎉

Help us wish our sweet Alyvia a very happy 12th birthday! 💜

She's our hostess with the mostest...especially after she's fully awake. 😆 She always greets everyone with a smile, is the first to jump in and help wherever she's needed, and has become such an important part of our little family business. We truly couldn't do it without her!

When she's not helping at Maveen's, she's busy keeping her big brother on his toes with pranks, loving on her animals, and making us laugh every single day.

Alyvia, we love you more than words can say and hope your day is filled with all the happiness you bring to everyone around you. NEVER stop being the kind, funny, caring, and amazing person you are.

And on a personal note...

I am beyond blessed and incredibly thankful that I get to call you my daughter. Watching you grow into the person you are is one of the greatest joys of my life. I couldn't be prouder of you.

🚨 The cooler may be broken...but dinner is HOT! 🔥🍽️

Good morning, everyone!

It's been one of those mornings! 😅 Our display cooler had a bit of a meltdown (literally...the glass door shattered 😬), so we're spending the morning cleaning up and getting everything back in order.
Because of that, we'll be opening at 12:00 PM today. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding!

Now for the news we've been dying to share...
As part of our One Sweet Year celebration and our week of bringing back some of your favorite throwback cravings...

💜 Behind every slice of cheesecake today was a whole lot of love... and one amazing little crew. 💚

People kept telling us today how smoothly everything was running, and honestly, that's because of the incredible people standing beside us.

Maveen's isn't backed by a big staff. It's powered by a husband, wife, son, daughter, sister, niece, and one new addition who has jumped in with both feet and been part of the family from day one. ❤️

This morning there was no "that's not my job." If something needed done, someone did it.

Decorating, making signs, hanging balloons, cutting cheesecake (what felt like HUNDREDS AND HUNDREDS of slices! 😆), restocking, cleaning, running for supplies, greeting customers, keeping us laughing when we were running on fumes... everyone just made it happen.

Was it a little chaotic? Absolutely. 😂

Did we lose track of a knife or two? Maybe 😵‍💫

Did someone ask, "How many cheesecakes do we have left?" about every 47 seconds? Without a doubt. 🤣

But through all the craziness, there was laughter, teamwork, and family.

Watching everyone work together today reminded us that Maveen's has never just been about food. It's about family. Sometimes the family you're born into... and sometimes the family you find along the way.

To our little crew... thank you for believing in this dream and pouring your hearts into it. We couldn't do this without you, and we wouldn't want to.

We love you all more than words can say.

Now let's all go catch up on about three days' worth of sleep and get ready for our one year anniversary next week! 😂

🎉 Y'ALL... WE ARE SOLD OUT AND ABSOLUTELY SPEECHLESS!! 🎉

There truly aren't enough words to express how grateful we are for everyone who came out today to celebrate National Cheesecake Day with us. 💜💚

Never in a million years did I imagine I'd be making a SOLD OUT post this early in the day... but here we are!

🤯 Almost 500 slices of cheesecake... GONE... in just 3.5 hours! 🤯

Because today was all about cheesecake, we didn't prep our regular menu for the rest of the day (and let's just say we're running on a whole lot of caffeine and very little sleep 😆), so we'll be closing early today.

We're going to grab a little rest, get everything back in order, and be ready to see you all for lunch tomorrow!

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. Thank you for believing in us, supporting our little family business, and making our very first National Cheesecake Day event a success beyond anything we could have imagined. You all continue to amaze us every single day.

And don't forget... next week is our ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY! 🥳 We have more fun planned to celebrate with all of you, so be sure to stop by and celebrate with us!
