Good morning friends and family. Its Tuesday so it is salad day at the restaurant with our signature chicken salad, pimento cheese, taco salad, and also Lo's special salad featuring dries cranberries, candied pecans, boiled eggs, cheddar cheese and mixed greens. I am working on some broccoli salad as well. Maybe you just want a fresh green salad with tomatoes, cucumbers and cheese. Come see us today for a lighter lunch alternative. Be blessed and be safe. Todays special will be a 1/3 lb burger with fries and sweet or unsweetened tea for $9.95 or a fried or grilled chicken sandwich for the same price. Add $1.00 for 20 Oz Pepsi products. We had a busy breakfast morning so no time to really prepare for buffet for lunch. We also have our regular menu items. Come hungry and leave with a smile. Be blessed and safe. Due to staffing shortage today there's no way I am able to open and do what would need to be done. I have someone starting tomorrow as server and probably someone to help in the kitchen also. Thank you for understanding and we will try to be back doing buffet tomorrow.

Ms. Linda's in Elba is looking to hire a part-time BOH prep cook/cooks assistant and also a FOH worker that includes serving. Approximately 20-24 hours weekly.
BOH prep cook duties:
*Cooking food items efficiently and consistently while ensuring safety and food handling guidelines are maintained.
*Operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
*Maintaining cleanliness of workstation, utensils and kitchen areas to ensure proper sanitation according to health department guidelines.
*Collaborating with FOH staff to properly prepare meals in a timely manner.

FOH duties:
*Greeting customers and taking their beverage and food orders.
*Communicating orders with BOH to ensure orders are correct.
*Checking customers out when finished dining.
*Keeping FOH in order by sweeping debris between customers, wiping down counters, and some inventory taking.

We will be back open this weekend! It’s been a heck of a week w Amanda’s mama in the hospital all week. She is having complications from chemo and radiation treatments. She’s home now but still not doing great so yall bare w us if we have close again for a few days.

I didn’t get to get in Big Creek or Pea River and clear what I was wanting to clear. Hopefully in the next week or so I’ll be able to get it all done!

Water is low and clear! It’s beautiful at these low levels but there will be a little more getting out and walking in shallow water or portaging around channel blockages. Be prepared for it to take a little longer than normal.

Yall come try these new boats out! See yall this weekend!!
