After 42 years, the final week at Sam’s Doghouse was something we will never forget! ❤️
We knew closing this chapter would be emotional, but we could not have imagined the outpouring of love, loyalty, stories, hugs, handshakes, and memories that came through our doors. Some of you came from just down the street. Some came from far away. Some brought your children. Some brought stories from decades ago. Some simply stood in line one more time to say thank you.
But the truth is, we are the ones who are thankful.
For over 40 years, you made Sam’s Doghouse more than a business. You made it a gathering place. A neighborhood stop. A family tradition. A place where people came for a hot dog, a milkshake, a quick lunch, a familiar face, and sometimes just a little piece of home.
This past week reminded us that what we built was never just about food. It was about people. It was about community. It was about loyalty that lasted for generations. It was about customers who became friends, and friends who became family.
To everyone who supported us through the years, and especially to everyone who came out during our final week, please know this: we felt your love deeply. We were overwhelmed by your gratitude, humbled by your kindness, and honored by the memories you shared with us.
From the deepest part of our hearts, thank you.
Thank you for standing with us. Thank you for laughing with us. Thank you for raising your families with us. Thank you for making Sam’s Doghouse part of your lives for the last 40 years.
You will always be remembered, and you will always be part of our story.
