It's been a year - a long year, and yet time passes quickly. What was your first realization that life-as-you-knew it was going to change? Mine was back in January 2020, when I saw the shut-downs in Wuhan on my Dad's CGTV cable channel. I remembered the bronze bust of the heroic nurse at the People 1st Hopital of Guangzhou. The kind doctor described the hardship and the actions of the hospitals -both TCM and Western - to curb the SARS1 outbreak. And the lessons learned by the government, and the whole Asia region who have a long history of dealing with epidemics.

As I watch the footage of the hospital tents going up, and the empty streets of Wuhan- I thought, damn, it this reaches the US, we are doomed. A year later, and after one of the most difficult winters of my life, I can finally say, I have hope. How have you been reflecting, envisioning, feeling in this moment in history?
