La Paz Mexican Restaurant is located @ 514 Center St. in sunny El Segundo, California. Serving the community since 1976 when Jose & Josefina first began. Tasco Myers operated from back in the 70s all the way up to 2005. Today, La Paz has an established clientele that’s literally quite like family. From local students who stop on by and do their homework while enjoying an afternoon snack, to entire families that come in on a weekly basis to enjoy an authentic freshly cooked Mexican meal.

Today we celebrate the birthday of a very special man, José Manuel Méndez, lovingly known by many as “Don Bichi.” ❤️

In his honor, we created something very close to our hearts: our Salsa Macha, made with love and inspired by his memory, his passion, and the flavors he shared with our family.
