If you order DoorDash during nocturnal hours please keep in mind that most humans are not equipped to see in the dark so please have your porch light on if you are able so they can find not only your home but your door safely.

Would hate to not see a hole in your yard or a crack on your sidewalk or a rotten step on your porch and we end up spraining our ankle or worse. Accidents happen especially when you can't really see after being blinded by headlights on the way to the home.

You can even wait until the moment the dasher pulls up to turn on your light or come meet them outside. It also shows you on the app exactly where your dasher is with your order so you would know exactly when to expect them to be looking for your home in the dark.

Please keep in mind during the breakfast, lunch and dinner rushes (plus weekends), there may be delays to orders. The merchant stores do their best to get all the orders out efficiently in a timely manner but they, like us all, are still human after all.
They have, not only DoorDash orders to fill, but also in-store and in drive-thru and through their individual business apps and other mobile orders. There's also Uber eats, postmates, and GrubHub orders they have to fill. Those are a lot of orders!
So please have patience and understanding.
And remember rushing causes accidents and errors.
We definitely don't want those! ❤️
