Today we celebrate a special honor in our restaurant's history.

8 years ago today, the City of El Paso officially proclaimed May 29th as L & J Café Day, recognizing our family's restaurant for its nearly 100 years of serving the El Paso community.

What began as Tony's Place in 1927 has grown through four generations of family ownership, countless employees, and the support of loyal guests who have made us part of their traditions and memories.

This proclamation is not just about our family, it's about every customer who has walked through our doors, every employee who has worn an L & J shirt, and every member of our community who has supported us through the years.

We are grateful, humbled, and proud to continue serving El Paso from the same historic location we have called home for generations.

Thank you, El Paso, for being part of our story. ❤️
