As we continue winding down, let’s take another trip down memory lane.

After 2 amazing years at Monarch, it was time to expand, and Lick It Up found its new home at .tx. During that transition, we had the honor of being featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives with the king himself,. His words? ‘This vegan torta is so good, I’d eat 50 of them!’ 🙌

We expanded into a larger kitchen and continued to explore bold flavors, introducing La Cruda Brunch and making Mexican brunch vegan food possible. Fan favorite LIU Burgers were also born in the INTL kitchen. But we never strayed too far from our roots, keeping truck classics like carne asada fries on the menu— and you can still get them today!

Our order window was always filled with El Paso pride. We even had a surprise visit from Congresswoman Veronica Escobar and a letter from Mayor Margo.

We’ve been lucky to call .tx our home since 2018, and these past years have been filled with love, support, and so many memories. As we wind down, we hope you’ll come by to enjoy some of your favorites one last time and say hello. Thank you, El Paso, for making this journey unforgettable. We can’t wait to see you these next few days before we end this chapter!

It’s our last week here at Lick it Up! Let’s take a little stroll down memory lane and talk Monarch.

The year was 2017. We were slinging plant-based Mexican eats to anyone willing to give it a try. At the time, vegan options in the area were few and far between, and we were determined to bring something fresh and exciting to the scene.

Those early days were filled with long nights, new menu creations, and plenty of passion. Anyone remember the Lick’rib or loaded tortilla soup?

We began to build something special— a tight-knit community of taco lovers and adventurous foodies who embraced our bold new flavors. That little patio became a place where we could be ourselves, experiment, and truly connect with the people of El Paso.

Whether you’re an OG who’s been with us from the start or a newbie, we’d love to see you one last time this week.
