🍕 Today marks 137 years since the Pizza Margherita got her name.

On June 11, 1889, a letter from the Royal Italian Household officially thanked Neapolitan pizzaiolo Raffaele Esposito — and his wife Donna Rosa, who was the real pizza maker — for delivering three pizzas to the palazzo where King Umberto I and Queen Margherita were staying. The queen’s favorite? Tomatoes, fresh bufala mozzarella, and basil. History was made.

Who remembers our very first house wine, Vitiano?
That was a special wine as it came from Umbria, the region where Norcia is located.
Well we have good news and even better news!
