Cafe C, acclaimed local chef Yvan Chalaye's newest restaurant creation, is a spinoff from Cafe Campanile, the restaurant he successfully ran for the past several years in Town Center . Prior to that, Yvan and his wife Mary owned and operated Christophe's in Folsom for 11 years, which they sold in 1997. Then after a brief retirement, in 2005 they opened Cafe Campanile, as a more casual, modern take on traditional French country cooking, with hearty French comfort-food items like rack of lamb, cassoulet, cider-brined pork and coq au vin...and now, Cafe C is Yvan's newest spin as he takes the neighborhood, casual feel of Campanile, and he brings it to a more intimate location directly under Regal Cinema's Town Center location, opening up the possibilities for EDH's dining crowd to enjoy a quiet dinner and a movie all within steps of each other.
