What is chimichurri? It’s a uniquely gaucho condiment, an herbal accompaniment to savory items like meat, made from olive oil, garlic, parsley, and other herbs. Each region as their particular favorite blend of herbs, as some with choose to add oregano and others coriander. In Argentina, Brazil, and Uruguay, where gauchos have long influenced the cuisine, chimichurri is a sure sign that you’re eating a hearty and traditional South American meal. While we honor our gaucho roots this month, we’re introducing Garlic Chimichurri Beef into the grilled item rotation. Give it a try and let us know what you think!
