Summer basically came and went so fast! My son is officially starting high school and the thought immediately makes my mom heart panic! The teenage years, hormones, the increased freedom, parties, girls, etc. I'm not ready!!! So while my mom heart freaked, my faith had to take over and I decided to write a list of what I was concerned for as he enters this new phase of life and started to pray specifically over those things. Pray that God would cover him with protection, positive influences and Christian mentors and coaches who will guide and shape him into the young man he was created to be. Pray over his future friends, pray for his decision making, pray that he overcomes future temptations, etc.
If back to school season has you stressed, I encourage you to pray through your worries and anxieties and seek God for comfort and peace!
