Good morning my donut friends 🍩 was hoping from my last post that I’d have better news to share, but unfortunately, I don’t 😔 We are still anxiously waiting to hear when we can push forward. It’s very disheartening, but we know that focusing on the positive is the best way to flip the script when things are out of our hands.

So with that said….. have you ever wondered how a business chooses their name? Or have you ever wondered how they came up with their logo?

Here is my story….
THE NAME:
Most of you probably know by now that Mama’s is in honor of my mother who passed away over 5 years ago. She was know as ‘Mama’ by all of her loving grandchildren 🥰❣️

OUR LOGO:
The book: Our song is Bob Seger’s ‘Turn the page’ 📕 🎵
The butterflies: She always said she would come visit as a butterfly 🦋 💕
The donut: She had a huge sweet tooth 🍩
The hand: Her hand reaching from above sprinkling the final touches 🖐️ ☁️

Good morning all ☀️ I wanted to pop on since it’s been a little bit since my last post.
I know everyone is eagerly awaiting to hear when opening day will be…. Believe me, I can’t wait to determine and share that date with you all as well. Unfortunately, I don’t have any major updates this week. We are simply waiting to hear when we can push forward. I will be in touch as I have more updates🤞🫶🏻💖🙏

Boy do I wish I was open today serving all of you amazing donut lovers!! Not long now until we open our doors and we can celebrate donut day everyday at Mama’s 🩷🍩

What a week it has been!!!! Our storefront sign has been delivered!! It’s so beautiful 😍
Our remaining signs will be here by end of week. We scrubbed and moved all of our equipment into the storefront.
I have also been practicing and practicing and practicing some different breads 🥖 🍞
✨It’s getting so real✨
Once we receive official sign off I will feel more confident about announcing an opening date. I’ll be in touch as we continue to progress 🫶🏻🍩💓

Where are all my roofers at??? We are looking for a local, insured and experienced roofer to work in conjunction with our hood/ventilation team to install commercial flashing, waterproof penetrations, check for proper drainage and ensure rooftop protection.
