As many of you know Jon Dove passed away unexpectedly on October 9th. Jon was extremely passionate about cooking his food for the community! We served up some of the food he had smoked at his memorial last weekend,but there’s still plenty left! The Dovenest food trailer will be set up in Hiawatha by the bowling alley from 2pm-5pm this Wednesday to sell food to the public! ❤️ all proceeds go to his girls and we would appreciate all y’all’s support! Thank you to all of our customers that have supported us over the years in our restaurant or at our food trailer. It meant the world to Jon to see people enjoying his food. Let’s honor him one last time ❤️

Headed to Hiawatha right meow to get set up for lunch service from 11am-2:30pm, then hauling ass to Atchison for the last First Friday events of the summer from 5pm-8pm!

Here be my schedule for the week folks!

Sooooo, I haven’t gotten official confirmation from
the property owner yet (his wife said it’s ok 😂) but on Thursday 10/5 I plan on setting up on the west side of the corn bunker at Cargill grain in Atchison to feed the harvest drivers from 11am-5pm!

On Friday 10/6 I’ll be in Hiawatha for lunch service only in front of the old bowling alley at 900 s 1st street from 11am-2:30pm…and I’m bringing sumpin special y’all ain’t had yet.

*then traveling to Atchison to set up for the First Friday Downtown events from 5pm-8pm*

Saturday 10/7 you’ll find dovesnest in downtown Meriden for the annual Fall festival from 11am-4:00pm!

Yours truly is cookin’ this week & I’m looking forward to seeing lotsa familiar faces! ❤️

Friday 9/29 Walmart in Atchison (possible change of venue tomorrow) from 11am-5:30pm!

Saturday 9/30 End of the Year party at ANEW Healthcare in Hiawatha (open to the public) from 10am-2pm, then making our way to Horton,KS to cater a wedding from 4pm-8pm!

Now that I’ve got the trailer restocked it looks like the rain will go away just in time for lunch service in Atchison!
