Where We Began - “My grandfather, Benedito Inacio, started our farm in Minas Gerais in 1935. He grew up farming and raised my mother and uncles to do the same. I grew up on this farm; my first job was running water to the workers in the field. I took over the farm in 1996 and started from scratch, planting new trees and clearing the land. I left the farm behind when I started my own family, but al

The most important conditions for growing coffee cherries are a temperate or tropical climate with no frost, ample sunshine, and plenty of water. Coffee cherries grow best at heights between 800 and 2,200 meters where the climate stays steady and the temperature changes only a little bit.

Proud to participate for our 2nd year in the Rotary Club of Edwardsville’s “Empty Bowls”

Empty Bowls is a national fundraiser that raises money and awareness for hunger and food insecurity. The event involves participants eating donated soup and bread and taking home a handmade ceramic bowl.

We served SERVicE Blend hot coffee and our signature Cold Brew Coffee!

Always a good event and we enjoy partnering with other local businesses, like our friends at Moussalli's Prime, The Mossy Stone Irish Pub & Joe's Market Basket!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Thank you to Keith Padgett’s Geography Class!! This year we caffeinated the kids after they listened to my presentation with SERVicE Blend!!

Keith’s post on FB: “Had a great visit in my geography classroom today from the “coffee man” or the “caffeinator” Craig Cottingham from Minas Espresso Roasting Co.

He explained the supply chain of coffee and the efforts it takes for small coffee farmers to bring the coffee to our cups! It’s amazing how many times we will refer to his presentation over the next three months!!

The coffee is available at Busy Body Meals (old Hick’s Bar B Que) on 159 in Belleville and Peel Wood Fired Pizza (coffee and Espresso Martini - hello Kristen Todd Padgett!)

The kids were awesome with some great questions!! I was excited for them to at least try black coffee and what it is truly supposed to taste like with the NATURAL flavor notes that the trees produce in the coffee cherries!
