It’s with an extremely heavy heart that I share this with everyone who cares about me, Chuck’s Pizza, and the journey I’ve taken to bring Chuck’s Pizza to North Edwards.

Last night, we experienced an internal electrical fire that spread throughout the entire unit, causing extensive damage and potentially leaving the building beyond repair. I honestly don’t even have the words to explain how heartbroken I am.

Chuck’s Pizza has been so much more than a business to me. It has been a dream, a sacrifice, a huge part of my life, and something I poured my heart and soul into. Right now, I feel like I’ve lost a loved one. I’m grieving. I’m devastated. And I’m trying to process what happened while figuring out what comes next.

As heartbreaking as this is, I am incredibly grateful that no one was hurt. That is something I will never take for granted.

I also want to sincerely thank every single person who has reached out, called, messaged, checked on me, offered support, or simply sent their condolences and well wishes. I may not have the energy to respond to everyone individually right now, but please know that I see you, I appreciate you, and your kindness means more to me than you know.

I don’t know what the future of Chuck’s Pizza looks like yet. I don’t know what rebuilding will look like, where it will happen, or how long it will take.

But I do know one thing:

I’m not giving up.

This may be a devastating chapter, but it is not the end of my story. I will figure out what comes next, one step at a time.

🎉🍕 CHUCK’S PIZZA RE-GRAND OPENING! 🍕🎉

We’ve had some obstacles since our original grand opening, but as a team, we’ve worked through them, overcome them, and we’re still standing strong!

The truth is, Chuck’s Pizza has always been a part of California City. ❤️

For almost 15 years, Chuck’s Pizza was a family-owned business before the original owners retired in 2012. In 2025, my sister and I decided to bring the Chuck’s Pizza name back and reopen in North Edwards.

But Chuck’s Pizza is so much more than a restaurant. Chuck’s Pizza is California City. It’s a part of so many people’s childhoods, memories, and stories. It provided opportunities for young people growing up in this community—many of whom went on to do great things and become amazing people.

We’re incredibly happy to be back and to have the opportunity to bring that nostalgic feeling back to our community, along with good pizza.

Our focus is simple: Pizza. Family. Community. ❤️🍕

We’re excited for this next chapter and can’t wait to celebrate our RE-GRAND OPENING with California City!
