Chef Hobbles and Mrs. Chef travel the highways and byways for inspiration. They call it "Travel Talk".
Wouldn't you know it, this new dessert inspiration was right in front of them all along!

Mrs. Chef is always pointing Hobbles to the old dirt roads & black top roads. She says any back road is better than main highways!

It's romantic to see them find so much inspiration from their childhoods. We think it's kinda cute when he gazes off into the ether, thinking about their last adventure. Then he comes back to us with these delicious thoughts (some of them might be Mrs. Chef's).

Dirt Road Pie might not be the sexiest name, but I mean this Oreo Crust, Peanut Butter Cheesecake filling, topped with a Dark Chocolate Ganache, Heath Bar Crumbles, Esspresso Whipped Cream....THIS deliciousness should probably be attributed to both of these fantastic foodies.

We all decided to let Chef drift away whenever he wants, if he comes back with this sort of "Yum Y'all"!!!

Chef Hobbles went to "steak" out a butcher shop so he could "beef" up our selection of red meat.

After circling the place a few times (totally not suspicious at all), he found a beautiful Tri-Tip Steak. This triangular cut comes from the bottom sirloin and is lean, yet wonderfully marbled. The result? A bold, beefy flavor that's every bit as satisfying as a strip steak.

Matter of fact... it's so good, Chef Hobbles might cook one for himself right now.

Whatever you call it, call yourself hungry. This steak is ready to earn a spot at your table when you come to dine with us!

Logger Family, Chef Hobbles just won't stop... geesh!

He's shifted into the fast lane to show all you Loggers the delicious new menu items he's been dreaming up. You can see it on his face—that determined look with a grin that says, "I've got something good for ya."

Truth be told, these are his favorite days. Creating new menu items and waving his magic spoon (and yes... we're convinced it really is magic) is what Chef Hobbles loves most.

Introducing Chef Hobbles' BBQ Chicken Flatbread!

We start with toasted flatbread, then pile on a sweet and smoky BBQ sauce, roasted garlic, pickled red onions, and generous chunks of juicy chicken. Every bite is packed with bold flavor that'll have you coming back for another.

Come on by Edom Log Cabin and see what all the fuss is about. Chef Hobbles has been busy... and we're all benefiting from it!

Chef Hobbles has been into Cajun and Creole cooking since way back when. We only looked away for a second... and this is what he came up with.

He threw a flatbread on the griddle to get it nice and toasty. While that was doing its thing, he mixed up a rich, creamy Cajun spread and slathered it on. Then he piled on some grilled veggies, fresh spinach, perfectly cooked shrimp, and finished it off with a sprinkle of feta.

As soon as he stepped back, we heard him shout...

"Mais, garde des don"

That’s Cajun French for "Well, look at that!" And honestly, after one bite, you’ll probably be saying the same thing.

🔥 It’s bold, it’s creamy, and it’s got just the right Cajun kick. Only at Edom Log Cabin... where Chef Hobbles keeps surprising us with seriously good food.

Why Feta, you ask. Mrs. Chef loves Feta.

What happens when the lunch rush slows down and we turn Chef Hobbles loose in the kitchen?

Well... ideas start oozing out of his brain. 😳

This time he looked around and said, "Let's make a Tuscany Flatbread!" We probably should've stopped him... but we're sure glad we didn't.

He started by toasting a fresh flatbread on the griddle, then spread on a rich blend of cheeses, sun-dried tomatoes, and spinach. Next came blistered tomatoes, sweet onions, roasted garlic, and artichoke hearts, all quickly sautéed to bring out their incredible flavor.

The result? A crispy, cheesy, Tuscan-inspired masterpiece that'll have you wondering why we ever let Chef Hobbles have free time in the first place.

Come grab one while he's still dreaming up his next delicious experiment! You might even ask for little goat cheese. I know I would.

Another sweet deal is happening at Edom Log Cabin on the debut of our new menu—Saturday, 8/1/26! 🍗🥓

Now, when we say "sweet deal," we don't mean dessert... we mean the kind of meal folks dream about.

We've taken juicy chicken drumsticks, wrapped 'em in bacon, and cooked 'em into golden, crispy deliciousness. 🤤

Then we piled on creamy mashed potatoes and a side of seasoned green beans to round out this plate of pure comfort food.

Fair warning: this meal may cause spontaneous smiles, satisfied sighs... and a serious nap afterward. 😴

Project Yum Y'all keeps rolling on. We'll see y'all August 1st!
