First, I just want to say THANK YOU! 🤎☕️🖤

B.E.A.R.D.S. has been doing extremely well, and we truly could not do it without each and every one of you who continues to walk through our doors and support our small business.

One thing I’ve learned along the way is that we simply can’t please everyone—and that’s okay. But I do want to give a little insight into what goes into the drinks we serve and why our prices may sometimes seem higher than others.

1. QUALITY MATTERS TO US.
We use high-quality ingredients in everything we make, all the way down to our specialty milks. We’ve heard, “Why not just go to Sam’s?” Well… because we don’t want to serve you the same products you can easily buy and make at home. We want B.E.A.R.D.S. to be an experience and something worth coming back for.

2. OUR COFFEE ISN’T GROCERY-STORE COFFEE.
We purchase from an amazing coffee roaster because the actual coffee matters to us. You aren’t getting H-E-B or Sam’s coffee poured into a cute cup. We chose quality from the very beginning, and we’re sticking to just that.

3. WE INVESTED IN OUR EQUIPMENT.
Your espresso shots are pulled from our beautiful Italian 3-group espresso machine. We invested in equipment that helps our baristas give you the quality and consistency you deserve. ☕️

4. PRESENTATION + PEOPLE MATTER TOO.
Our cups, our custom stickers from the amazing A+J Signature Design Co., the ingredients, the equipment, and most importantly—the time, care and hard work our beautiful baristas put into every order—all of that is part of what you’re paying for.

So when you hear, “Forget them, we can find it cheaper,” just remember: cheaper doesn’t always mean you’re getting a better deal. Sometimes you may actually be paying more for less quality.

We are a SMALL BUSINESS. We are NOT a franchise. There isn’t a corporation behind us buying products by the millions or funding our next move. We own what we have, and it took YEARS of working, sacrificing and saving to build this dream. And we are incredibly proud of it.

We will continue doing what we have always tried to do—serve quality products, create something different, love our community, and give you a place that feels like home. 🤎

Thank you to the people who understand small business, recognize quality, support our baristas and continue choosing B.E.A.R.D.S. COFFEE. You are the reason we get to keep dreaming bigger.
