Success.
Success is measured by many standards.
As for me, here’s is my viewpoint of success.
Taste of Time for us started as an idea that we would open occasionally for farmers market & special events, unexpectedly it became a great staple in our week. It allowed me the time to focus on my faith and family. I was able to be present for our kids & their special moments. I was able to dedicate time to grow in several women’s faith groups & have made beautiful friendships & sisters in Christ.
We may not have developed a full open schedule but we gave 100% during our open times. So by my standards my coffee dream was a success in our lives.
However, as focuses often do, I am turning and investing time back to one of my first passions, my career. I feel I come back to healthcare more equipped spiritually & carrying less guilt of missing out on my kids special moments. Due to multiple factors it will be too difficult for me to juggle both career & coffee truck.
With that said, Taste of Time’s last day to be open will be June 24. This announcement comes with some sorrowfulness at missing out on seeing the regular faces we have grown accustomed to sharing a small part of their week, but also glad that I gave my dream a chance, so appreciative of the people I met & got to know.
Thank you Jackson County & surrounding cities for your support through each purchase, social media share/like, the well wishes & so much more.
Also a great big Thank you to the businesses that opened their doors to us, especially The Blooming Company for giving our truck a stable parking spot!
A special thank you to my husband Joe Salazar III , who has been my strongest supporter & all my family who has been literally at the window with me.
All Glory to God
& with so much Love,
Veronica
