Edinboro Market Edinboro Market, Inc. The U.S. Department of Agriculture has identified the Borough of Edinboro as a food desert. So we decided to change that!

is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides access to fresh, local food; an entrepreneurial marketplace for food producers, growers, and artisans; and an understanding of the importance of both. The Edinboro Market will be opening as a non-profit with the goal of promoting access to locally grown foods. In addition we will be educating our customers on the health and nutritional benefits o

f these foods. The Market will also provide incubator space for local farmers, growers and producers to test and improve new products, while building marketing skills that will allow them to 'grow' their businesses.

We are super duper squirrelly excited to announce that we are partnering with .and.honey.erie in Erie.
We will be coordinating deliveries to get their baked goods (pastries & sourdough) here at Edinboro Market along with getting fresh, local goods to them on a weekly basis.
This has been a work in progress for about a year and it's finally happening!!

We hope to have our first delivery here at the Market sometime Thursday (8/20).
We will be carrying croissants, puff pastries, pop tarts just to name a few.

Thanks to Jessica and the entire crew to help make this happen :)

We purchased them from a local grower, did the hard work of pitting and destemming, then froze them on trays and placed them in glass quart jars for safe keeping.
They are ready for purchase.
$9.75 per quart plus $1.00 jar deposit.
Find them in our freezer section.
