Some moments at the club just happen, and those are often the best ones.

Last night, Billy Vermillion celebrated his birthday at Café South surrounded by fellow members, golfing friends and their wives. Good food, a few drinks, plenty of laughs, and the kind of easy camaraderie that makes a place feel like home.

This is what we love about The Golf Club at South River. Yes, we’re a place to play golf. But we’re also where friendships grow, celebrations happen, and members come together simply because they enjoy being around one another.

Happy Birthday, Billy! 🥂 We’re glad you chose to celebrate with us and even more glad we caught this great group enjoying the evening together.

The round doesn’t have to end when you leave the 9th green.

Last night, 54 golfers joined us for our fourth Couples Golf for Fun event, nine holes of golf followed by appetizers, drinks and plenty of time to relax and enjoy each other’s company in the clubhouse.

Golf brings us together. Great food, drinks and hospitality give us a reason to stay awhile.

On a beautiful late-August evening, the course was full, the clubhouse was buzzing and our members and guests were exactly where we want them to be, enjoying the entire club experience.

This is club life at South River.

Before the backpacks come out and the school bells ring, there are still a few more summer afternoons to enjoy. ☀️

A walk down the back nine. A golf bag over your shoulder. Friends beside you. No place you need to be quite yet.

Jim Preston captured this great moment of three of our junior golfers enjoying the course, and to us, it says so much more about The Golf Club at South River.

It’s more than a golf course. It’s a place for our families to spend time together, for kids to grow their love of the game, and for summers to be filled with experiences they’ll remember.

There are some evenings that truly capture what makes our club so special, and Friday night was one of them.

On a beautiful July evening, we had the honor of welcoming the McCallen family and their guests for a memorable wedding rehearsal dinner as they celebrated the beginning of a wonderful wedding weekend.

With the golf course alive with a club fitting on the driving range, couples enjoying our Couples Golf event, and the sun setting over the fairways, the club was filled with energy, laughter, and unforgettable moments.
