We had such an amazing time with so many of you at Fall Fest last weekend!

Thank you to everyone who came downtown, stopped in to see us, supported the local vendors, and showed some love to all of the small businesses that make our downtown special.

One of our favorite parts of Fall Fest is simply looking out and seeing so many happy faces. Families, friends, neighbors, and people from all over our community walking the streets together, laughing, eating, shopping, exploring, and just enjoying being together.

That kind of community is something pretty special, and we don't take it for granted.

We were incredibly busy, a little exhausted by the end of it, and very grateful for every single person who walked through our doors.

Thank you for supporting local.
Thank you for supporting downtown.
And most of all, thank you for being part of this wonderfully weird little community we love so much. 🌿

Fall Festival weekend is almost here, which means our little corner of downtown is about to turn into organized chaos.

Saturday, the Eau Claire Fall Festival takes over the whole street and it is hands down one of the busiest, weirdest, most fun days of the year for us.

We’ll have a booth out front, a full crew inside, and we’ll be cranking out food, coffee, whole fruit smoothies, sodas, and all the other good stuff that keeps people wandering around happy. Ride your bike and get yourself some free sunshine added to your favorite cafe drink.

Yes, there will be a ton of food trucks. Yes, you should absolutely eat your way down the street. But when you need a good drink, a smoothie, a place to cool off, or something a little more Wonders of Nature, you know where to find us.

And don’t forget to make your way to the back of the shop. We may have a few special things tucked away for the weekend.

If Saturday crowds make you want to disappear into the woods, come see us Friday instead and grab your weekend goodies early.

(Happy hour after 3pm everyday!)

Come downtown, wander around, eat too much, people-watch, support local businesses, and enjoy the madness.

The Bike Valet is free to use, and a team of friendly CORBA Volunteers will happily keep your bike safe and secure while you enjoy all the artists, vendors, food trucks, and more at Fall Festival!

Senate leadership, many lawmakers and the White House support an extension of the federal h**p deadline to give lawmakers a little more time to work toward common-sense rules instead of wiping out an entire legal industry overnight.

For Wonders of Nature, this is deeply personal. The h**p side of our business has helped support our café, our staff and everything we’ve built downtown over the past 7 years.

Updated Hours at Wonders of Nature

We’ve adjusted our hours to better reflect customer traffic downtown:

Monday–Friday
Cafe: 10 AM–5 PM
Dispensary: 10 AM–6 PM

Saturday: 9 AM–5 PM
Sunday: 11 AM–3 PM

The dispensary will remain open until 6 PM during the week for your green convenience, while the cafe will now go back to closing at 5 PM.

Starting tomorrow, Saturday, August 1st, paid parking will officially begin downtown.

We know a lot of people are frustrated by this change. We understand it, and honestly, we share many of those concerns. For more than a year, we’ve been speaking up about how paid parking could impact small downtown businesses, especially at a time when many of us are already navigating a very difficult economy.

But as frustrating as this change may be, we want to gently ask our community not to let it become another reason to give up on downtown.

Downtown Eau Claire still matters.

It’s our river walks and bridges. It’s the farmers market, the music, the cafés, the small shops, the family-run businesses, and the people who have poured their lives into creating something meaningful here. Downtown is part of what gives Eau Claire its character, and it needs community support now more than ever.
We’ve done our best to make this transition easier for our customers.

Paid parking does not begin until 1:00 PM, so many morning coffee runs, breakfast stops, lunch visits, and early shopping trips won’t be affected.

We also worked with the City to add a free 15-minute quick parking spot in front of our shop for those fast café stops or quick in-and-out visits.

A parking kiosk has also been installed in front of Wonders for anyone who would rather not use the Passport app. You’ll be able to use a credit card or quarters right outside before coming in.

And if you’re stopping by after 1:00 PM and the meter is the thing standing between you and a visit, please come in and talk to us. We’ll keep some quarters on hand. We would much rather help with a dollar of parking than have someone feel like they can’t stop in.

These are uncertain times for many small businesses, including ours. Over the next few months, we have a lot ahead of us, but we’re still here, still showing up, and still doing our best to serve this community with good coffee, good food, good products, and a space that feels welcoming.

We hope you’ll continue to hang with us.

A few of you mentioned that opening a little earlier on Saturdays would be helpful, so we’re giving it a go!

Our Saturday hours are now 9am–5pm, giving you an extra hour in the morning to stop in for coffee, juice, smoothies, café goodies, and all your favorite Wonders finds.
