Did you know one of our vendors is also a barista at the cafe?

Sam Mero! You’ve likely seen her behind the counter on Saturdays or tag teaming with our littlest barista during the week… she has SO many talents!

Through her family’s company, BellMill Spices and Teas, Sam handcrafts our tea blends! She literally sources the ingredients, creates the recipes, and blends them herself before bringing them to our store!

Her Orange Cranberry White Tea is featured right now as part of our October specials- come give it a try! Craving something cozy? Try a London Fog made with her Lavender Earl Grey Tea! Or for something refreshingly fruity and floral, try her Raspberry Hibiscus Tea! 🌺

Sam is in ministry full time with her company, God Quest! She hand-prints the T-shirts AND is the award-winning author of the DEEP Bible study series!

We hope you are having a peaceful and restful Sunday 🫶

The coffee in the cafe isn’t brewing today, but we pray your cup is filled and overflowing in all the ways that matter most!

Every Sunday, we close our doors to prioritize time with family, worship, rest, and community.

Today, we pray that you feel encouraged and refreshed- that you find peace in His presence, rest for the week ahead, and the reminder that you are deeply loved, seen, and known by Him.

The SWEETEST gifts from our friends at The Crunchy Shop 🪴

We asked our local community moms’ group for ideas on how to make Compassion Café more welcoming and convenient for families. Cláudia from The Crunchy Shop didn’t just share an idea… she offered to help make it happen! 🥹

Yesterday, she personally stopped by the café and brought us the most wonderful additions to our bathroom care station, all in the most gorgeous, refillable amber bottles!

We are already HUGE fans of The Crunchy Shop! In fact, her bulk spices are used in the gluten-free and dairy-free cookies made by Luke & Jack Cake Company! 🍪♥️

Hi, friends! 🫶

With the severe weather expected to move through our area, we’ve made the decision to close Compassion Cafe tomorrow, Saturday, October 10, out of an abundance of caution.

The safety and well-being of our team members and community will always be our number one priority! No cup of coffee is worth putting anyone at risk. ❤️

We’re ready to get you caffeinated- and now you can grab a little something from the fridge, too!

We’ve added a few grab-and-go options for our little humans, grown-ups, and dairy-free friends! 🫶

We truly have some of the most talented vendors and the most thoughtful customers. Sometimes, we get lucky enough for them to be both!

Mrs. Jan is one of the (talented!!) artists whose work you’ll find at Compassion Cafe, and she often joins us for a cappuccino and a little conversation.

Today, she came in with the sweetest surprise: a custom taxi cab painting for my son’s birthday, complete with his name! 🚕💛

She had remembered a conversation about how much he loves the taxi cabs in her painting on our wall- and took the time to create one just for him.

Mrs. Jan, your talent makes our cafe beautiful, and your kindness makes this community feel like home!

Thank you for loving on our family in such a thoughtful way. 🫶

Tomorrow is Saturday, we would LOVE for you to bring the whole family to the cafe!

One of the ongoing goals we have is making Compassion Cafe a place where your whole family feels welcome! We have plenty more dreams for this space, but for now, we’ve started adding some little touches here and there to make visits with your littles a little more fun!

Tomorrow, we’ll have coloring supplies, and a few activities out for you to enjoy together while you hang out with us!

And as always, your littles are welcome here. Bring the baby. Bring the toddler. Bring the big kids. Come as you are and stay a while!

Need another reason to stop by? With every adult drink purchase, your little one can get a FREE kids drink! Choose from apple juice, hot chocolate, or let our barista make them a fun flavored milk!

I have been SO excited to share this one with y’all!! We’ve been brain-storming, taste-testing, tweaking, and imagining... our October menu is officially ready!

There’s a little bit of everything this month, and I genuinely don't know how I'm supposed to pick a favorite out of this lineup. 😂
