In the meantime here are some new dishes from this past week:

-Fried Soft Shell Crabs w/ nam jim seafood sauce

-Xoài Chua (sour unripe mango) tossed w/ muối ớt (chili salt) & palm sugar fish sauce

-Wok-Fried Asparagus from our friends w/ garlic & oyster sauce

-Mango Tres Leches w/ toasted coconut & Pandan Basque cheesecake

our New England take on classic Singapore Chili Crab, swapping out the mud crab for a nice 2lb hard shell. Claws & knuckles cracked n’ tail split for easier, yet still messy enjoyment.

Served w. big fluffy/chewy mantou (steamed buns) for sopping up all the sauce.

APRIL 23-25 our dining room will be OPEN.

Reservations are available starting at noon today as always. While we do keep a few seats open for walk-in guests, we always suggest making a reservation as we are a small restaurant and space is limited.

-Thịt Bò Xào Khoai Tây (Stir-Fried Beef w/ French Fries) onion, cilantro, & black pepper

-Pla Lad Prik, our whole fried fish (local Black Sea bass here) w/ tamarind-chili sauce, herbs, crispy garlic, & pickled chilies

-Halo-Halo Sundae w/ ube ice cream, chunks of leche flan, coconut water jellies, toasted cornflakes, mango, & condensed milk

APRIL 9-11 our dining room will be OPEN.

Reservations are available today starting at noon per usual. While we strongly encourage making a reservation, we do save a few seats for walk-in guests each night.

Good order on the pass of:

•Hoi Tod (Thai crispy & chewy rice flour pancake w/ squid, garlic chives, egg, beansprouts, & chili sauce). Typically made with mussels but we use local squid.

•Stir-Fried Yu Choy from .farm w/ lạp xưởng sausage

•Gai Tod Hat Yai (Southern Thai-style fried chicken w/ sticky rice & crispy shallots). We slice & fry 10 lbs of shallots every week to ensure steady supply!

FEBRUARY 26-28 our dining room will be OPEN.

Reservations are available today at noon as always. While we strongly encourage making a reservation, we do hold some tables for walk in guests each night.

As we have mentioned each week over the past month, our dining room will be CLOSED the first three weeks of March, as our chef/owner will be traveling to Vietnam, a trip that has been in the works for many months. This week is the last week our dining room will be open until we resume service on 3/26.

•Our Halo Halo Sundae w/ ube ice cream, chunks of leche flan, coconut jellies, toasted cornflakes, condensed milk, mango, & a cherry

•Galam Plee Pad Nam Pla (Wok-fried cabbage w/ fish sauce, garlic, & white pepper) is back on the menu. Truly a dish greater than the sum of its parts. This person added lap cheong sausage. Yum.

BEBEK PENYET on the menu tonight.

Javanese smashed crispy duck leg, slathered with spicy sambal.

We braise duck legs until tender w/ a paste of turmeric, coriander, & garlic, then fry until crisp, smash, & coat with a layer of sambal made from tomato, chili, cilantro stem, shallot, etc.

FEBRUARY 19-21 our dining room will be OPEN.

Reservations are available for the week starting at noon today as always. While we always save a few seats for walk-in guests each night, we strongly encourage making a reservation.

We hope you all had a lovely Valentine’s Day weekend. Here’s a photo of a large format Khao Kha Moo (6 hr soy-braised pork hock) from Sage Farm w. lots of spices, boiled egg, & house pickled mustard greens that we served Friday night.

Friday nights hocks were for 3-4 people, Saturday nights were smaller (for 2) because what’s more romantic than tearing into a slow-braised pork hock with someone you love? Also, Yum Som-O (Thai pink pomelo salad w/ poached gulf shrimp, mint, cilantro, chilies, toasted coconut & crispy garlic chips.

We continue to remind folks, as we have the last few weeks, that our dining room will be closed the first three weeks of March. Our chef/owner will be traveling to Vietnam. We will still be available for smaller, private catering events during this time and will resume our regular dinner service 3/26.
