HEY, I’M BIG AL! 👋🍔

With so many new faces around here, I figured it was time to reintroduce myself!

I’m Alex, a 20-year-old chef, entrepreneur, and founder of Big Al’s Smash Burgers right here in East Wareham, Massachusetts.

Growing up in the restaurant industry, I always knew food would be part of my future. But I didn’t just want to work in restaurants. I wanted to build something of my own.

And that’s how Big Al’s was born.

Our mission? Take the classics everybody loves and make them unforgettable. From crispy-edged smash burgers and fried chicken sandwiches to house-made sauces and bold flavors, everything we serve has a little Big Al’s personality behind it.

And what a journey it’s been already! 🏆

In less than a year, we’ve served hundreds of customers, built an incredible community, been recognized by local food creators, and taken home GOLD for Best Burger in the 2026 SouthCoast Almanac awards!

But we’re far from finished.

My next goal is opening our very first brick-and-mortar location, with dreams of eventually bringing Big Al’s to communities across Massachusetts and beyond.

I’m 20, learning as I go, and putting everything I have into building something I believe in.

To everyone who’s supported us so far, thank you. And to everyone discovering us for the first time, welcome to the family!
