We've always been proud to be a place for great food, great memories, and lifelong friendships… but we didn’t realize we were also in the matchmaking business.

These two were both part of Gus’s crew. Somewhere between the busy nights, the laughs, and the behind-the-counter moments, they found something a little sweeter than custard ....each other

Fast forward to today, they’re married, and they chose to serve Gus’s custard at their wedding.

So we have to ask… is finding your forever person while working at Gus’s against company policy? Because we may need to update the employee handbook.

Congratulations to the two of you. We’re honored that Gus’s was the place where your story began.

HAPPY 250TH BIRTHDAY, AMERICA!
This Fourth of July is a little extra special as our country celebrates America's 250th birthday, and we're joining the celebration!
Gus's Drive-In will be CLOSED Saturday, July 4th and Sunday, July 5th.
With the roads closed on the square for an event on Saturday, plus the Lions Club not holding their annual parade and carnival this year, the Fourth of July looks a bit different in East Troy. We encourage everyone to spend this holiday celebrating America with family and friends, enjoy a parade in a neighboring community, watch fireworks, or simply make new memories while celebrating this historic milestone for our country.

We know it's unusual for us to close during a busy summer weekend, but family and staff have always been at the heart of Gus's. For more than 20 years, we've been blessed with an incredible team and loyal customers who have helped make Gus's what it is today. This weekend is our chance to say thank you by giving our staff time to celebrate with the people who matter most.

We'll be back Tuesday, July 7th serving burgers, hot dogs, gyros, frozen custard, and all your favorites.

Thank you for your support, and from our family and staff to yours, have a safe, fun, and memorable Fourth of July weekend.

Lets be honest….these days you could walk into nearly any restaurant and see a "help wanted" sign, because it seems everyone wants "help".... EXCEPT FOR US, because as we ramp up for our busy summer season and beyond, we don't want "help"! We don't want just a pair of hands that “help” do a job.
We want something else!!!!!!!
Creativity WANTED! Positive attitudes and the desire to join a team WANTED. Looking forward to coming to work and loving what you do WANTED. One of our favorite Gus's traditions.
Every graduation day, our graduating employees gather around the giant for a photo. What started as a simple picture has become a tradition we look forward to every year.
Watching these incredible young people grow, work hard, and reach such an important milestone is truly special. We’re proud to celebrate their accomplishments and grateful they're part of the Gus's family.
Congratulations, graduates we're cheering you on every step of the way, and you'll always have a home at Gus's!

Community means more when you get to grow something together.
Each year we have the privilege of partnering with Ryan Holle and the horticulture students from East Troy High School to bring our front garden to life. From designing the beds, to prepping the space, to planting every detail, these students poured their creativity, hard work, and pride into this project.
Watching young people invest in their community like this is something special, and we couldn’t be more grateful to work alongside such talented kids and dedicated educators. Thank you for helping make our space more beautiful and for reminding us what community partnership is all about.
